some random new thingies

it's already march tomorrow! and that means a new blog layout. i'll change it now since i won't be able to go online when the clock strikes 12mn tonight. hehe...

yep, so i changed my blog layout with something blackish, pinkish, girlish whatever. well, my previous layout was too cute. *i love teddies* so a darker layout is in order. not actually dark, but i love having a black background, so there... :) thanks to blogskins for the skin. lol. i'm too lazy to create a skin so therefore i leech *but always give credit where it's due* ^^ i'll try to make one myself if i can spare the time :)

some more new thingies. i've added quite a few things on the side bar:
a playlist - thanks to imeem for the cool playlist. no more bandwidth to worry over. lol. and i can add as many songs as i want. i'll be adding some more new songs from time to time so make sure you browse over the entire list. just got 20 songs so far but i intend to make it the ultimate asian pop playlist. hehe :)

counter - coz almost all my online friends have it. yeah, simple crazy reason. :)

* oh and i think i'm going to add another portion/part in that sidebar. hmm... we'll see :)

new email address: and just so you guys know, i will be using dettedeleon@gmail.com from now on. i've configured my email client (thunderbird) to receive emails even if i'm not logged in. i'm having issues with thunderbird receiving emails from yahoo. something to do with yahoo's smtp. T_T anyway, please don't forget that little info. but i will still be using dettedeleon@yahoo.com for my YM! okidoki?

ok, will post more later when i finish watching random concert clips that i've downloaded. i think i have multiple copies of the same file, but with a different file name. T_T was in a download frenzy this past week because of the concert, and because CB was at it's friendliest. lol...

friendship and respect

friendship cannot thrive without respect and trust. i know this much.

that's why when a friend disrespects me, i can forgive her. but i never forget. and when i can't forget that one thing he/she did, it's hard for me to trust him/her... resulting in broken friendships. it might seem harsh to some people. but that's the way it is for me. if i can't trust you, you're just an acquaintance... just someone i get to meet once in a while for something. all those happy memories are just that... memories.

and in my opinion... it's better to have few real friends than a gazillion friends who just won't respect you as a person.

i've always given the highest respect to my friends, whether they're older or younger than me. i treat them with respect because i want to be treated the same way.

why did i post something like this? i don't know. maybe because a lot of things have been happening lately that made me think.

read fic updates (especially Blood Hunt.. i am so late T.T)

and since I've already burned Goong and HYD2, i'll cross that out. currently reading the lates update on Blood Hunt, so later i'll cross that out too.

speaking of mangas... i just read Akuma na Eros. it's kind of smutty but the storyline is great. it's about a high school girl who'd do anything just to get the guy she likes to like her back. and when she says anything, it means even using witchcraft which she did. and she summoned the Devil instead. plot turns out interesting because when the devil found out that the girl was a virgin, he mad a deal that when the girl finally gets her wish/desire, she'll have to surrender her virginity to Satan. interesting huh? what's more interesting is Satan looks so handsome in the manga. lol... there's more twists in the story, but i'll let you find that out for yourself. If you want me to upload the scanlations, just tell me.

just to give you an idea of how good-looking Satan is:

it started with this one post at a forum (actually it was the same post in two different forums) about: bangers vs. angels. wtf. what was her intention in posting that? is she that narrow-minded??

the nerve! my god. she does not have the right to say that. what, she knew dbsk 2 years after the boys debuted.. and for her to say that.. girl, YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SAYING... you are threading very dangerous waters... i am telling you. and you don't want to see me angry. if you posted that to prove a point, then explain it. if you posted that out of spite and full of malice, then may the heavens have mercy on you because bangers and angels do not need people like you.

yes, i am angry. and it's rare that you see me angry.

randomness...

it's saturday, and i just finished downloading the 7th episode of HYD2. can't help but browse throught the episode. gosh, i just found out that the side stories in the TW production is really part of the manga. i don't like it when nishikida cries. -___-

oh, and i was almost finished downloading the 1G eng-hardsubbed Rising Sun concert when...... it restarted! freaking CB restarted everything! T___T now i really have to buy the DVD. oh well, i'm going to buy it anyway so what's the diff. fandom = poverty, i so swear.

i'm going to G4 later to meet up with the cass-ph core members. and when i get home, my dbsk korean photobook and storybook collection will be complete! bwahahahaha... and now the only thing that would make it complete-compete would be the japanese artist book which is soooo expensive. but wth, if it makes me happy, why not, right? and i'm still missing one album soon to be two. er, i'm missing their japanese albums. and their japanese dvds (which I already ordered from OK!Books teehee)... and the freaking Rising Sun concert DVD that is currently out of stock in Korea! T___T

ok, i know i promised to write something serious... and here it is:

ANACLETA, i am going to miss you T___T you'll be gone for a year, where will i get all the drama that i need, and all the crazy jecle love tantrums? but i am happy for you. this is an opportunity that you should never miss.
don't doubt yourself too much and don't worry if it's all real or just a dream. the important thing is you are experiencing it, and you have to make the most out of everything. you have to promise me that. *hugs*

i was doing some CD inventory earlier because i was looking for a specific disc... episode 4 of HYD1 which Ces burned for me... i can't find it so i decided to check my excel file for my cds. *yes, i do have an excel file of all my cd. i'm not crazy, just plain OC*

and guess what i found? a lot of my cds are missing. well, not actually missing but most of them were borrowed and is still not returned. let's list them, shall we?

windows vista

i want a new pc with a new operating system >.<

windows vista took a long time to be released. there were beta versions before, but of course, there were bugs. making it practically unsafe to try. it was codenamed Longhorn, way back in before 2005 when it was announced.

here's what i found in wiki about it:

According to Microsoft, Windows Vista contains hundreds of new features; some of the most significant include an updated graphical user interface and visual style dubbed Windows Aero, improved searching features, new multimedia creation tools such as Windows DVD Maker, and completely redesigned networking, audio, print, and display sub-systems. er, but after doing some research, i found out that Vista does not support CB and torrent downloads. poor me. if that's the case, i think i'll stick with good ol' XP... well, until they got that thing fixed. lol

and i also read that there are still a lot of bugs. T.T

Jung Da Bin, the spunky girl i've come to know in New Nonstop has passed away. police found her body earlier today, and it's really quite a shock.

i still don't know the details, but i feel really sad. i've seen her in those nonstop episodes and watched her march her way to Kim Rae Won's character's heart in Attic Cat. this is really a great loss to korean show business.

just in case you don't know who she is, i'm sure you'll recognize her. she charmed her way to Filipino audience's hearts in Attic Cat...

Jung Da Bin, may you rest in peace

as someone who witnessed her rise to stardom, i can only hope for her eternal rest. Jung Da Bin, you will be missed. T__T

look for scanlated chapters 128, 135 and 136 of fruits basket
watch at least 4 episodes of Ghost Fighter (so i can move on to other DVD-9s that are on my list T.T)

so i was able to accomplish 3 out of 6. that's 50%, not so bad. here's a new TTD list for today

it's amazing. around 8-10 years ago, i had my life completely mapped out ahead of me. i was determined to do all these cool stuffs that teenagers think were "amazing". i was going to travel the world, marry the perfect guy, have a fulfilling job...

but back then, even though i think of myself as mature, i was looking at life through rose-colored glasses. maybe it was because i was trapped within the confines of our home and my school, but as i see these kids now (i know quite a few highschoolers), nothing seemed to change. i see in them myself 8 years ago. they have a lot of things planned out for them. and that's not bad. having a dream is what makes all of us keep going. but if i were to choose, i want someone to tell me, "hey kid, life's not as easy as you think". i know they've been told that, but what they lack is the real realization that life is really not as easy as they think. they might say "i know" but they don't really. for them to know, they have to experience it, which they haven't.

i'm not saying that these young people don't have the ability to make their dreams come true. they all have such ability. the problem is the world may not agree with them. it's a cruel world out there... even though you want something so bad and you go all out to achieve it, it all depends on the circumstances the world has to offer. this is the sad reality of it all.

take it from me.

i'm not saying that my life sucks. i just arrived at the point that i've learned to accept that what i want is not necessarily what i'll get. i want to do a lot of things in my life, and i've accepted the fact that while i try my hardest to do them all, circumstance and the world may not permit it. the only thing to do is accept the reality and try my best the next time...

i am tired. it has been a hectic week. haven't had time to read some new stuff or finish watching some vids. all i've been doing is work. i am pathetic T.T

oh well, at least i got to finish Death Note. it's very nice, makes you think in more ways than one. and i am loving N and L's characters. i have no plans of watching the movie though. i've read reviews and all of them say one thing: "if you've read the manga, don't ever watch the movie. you're in for a disappointment" and so i am taking their advice.

i plan to read A Thousand Years of Snow next. i always want to read mangas that are already completed so i won't feel "bitin". but i am so itching to read Chocolat. i was able to scan thru the first few pages, and i was like... omg, i can totally relate. lol... ^^

btw, my msn live messenger is fine now! yey, i can see all my old contacts. i am very, very relieved. and i was able to talk to Sarah too, my friend in Singapore who's also a major sam wang fan. ^^ fangirl is love, isn't it?

anyway, i am off to sleep. and i intend to accomplish my TTD list later. it's a rest day for me so, yey!

missing the boys

omg.. i am so missing the boys right now *sniff*

heck, this started yesterday when i saw "Rising Sun" on arirang, and now i'm watching the pops in seoul feb6 episode on arirang's vod. waaaahhhh... i miss them so much!!! and isak said they'll focus on japan for the enxt 2 years... my heart, it's breaking... T.T

the pops in seoul episode made me realize how much the boys have been a part of my life. this is bad. heck, even while watching the Sky MV, i still feel emo (under normal circumstances, i'd laugh my head off because of the gay choreo)

hec, even micky's yellow shirt-purple pants tandem isn't funny anymore.... i am so missing them right now. waaahhh... that is it, i am going to malaysia!. T.T

hmm.. now as i am watching the show, i'm liking the new format. it's more in-depth (with the O-JungBanHap and Balloons comparison and contrast part).

OMG.... pungseon... balloons... *wheeeee~* this MV is <3... no fangirl can ever resist this MV. i want to hug them all... i want dongbang phlushies!!!!! waaahhh!!! i demand they create dongbang phlushies!!!

i am going to download the whole show. it's 25 minutes and 11 seconds long and i don't care. heck, i can download a 1-hour show, what's a 25-minute show? hmm.. this'll probably be around 300+Mb..

last time i watched, it was VJ Julie, now it's isak. i mean, i have nothing against her, but... that was soooo sudden. i still remember watching it when VJ Soy was still the host. wow... 3 VJs. how long has it been since i became addicted to kpop?

omg.. i am back to reading fics. and..... there was a les miserables update that made me cry. and it's micky's fault!!

here's the part that made me cry:

it's monday. i hate mondays. T.T

mondays mean a hectic workday, and i am not excited about it. god, please let ACS be all right for the whole week, no circuits going down, no network outages, no nothing... i am begging you T.T i have had enough of a week full of severity 1 issues. and calling the different departments just to make sure that they're doing their job. >.< waaahhh.. if i had to go through another week with 2-4 severity 1 issues a day, i swear i'll break down :(

the only bright spot for me this week is YunHo's birthday. *sigh* seems like only yesterday he was a crazy teenager, and now he's drinking like crazy and even gets drunk T.T and why didn't i see that drunk pic of him? *sniff sniff* yunnie... i miss yunnie... *stabs bambi*

yes, i still hate bambi. but because it's Jung Yun Ho's birthday tomorrow, i shall get bambi out of the storage room. just because it's YunHo's birthday. after february 6, bambi's back to the storage room. hmph!

receiving a myspace message from him was unusual. it really was a surprise. i mean he's pretty happy and all. maybe he feels guilty? but i think i've never done anything that would make him feel that. in fact, i've always prayed for his happiness.

but i thank him for apologizing. no matter what happened, he'll always be someone special to me. but as they say "friendship always end in love, but love in friendship, never"

i was listening to Teen Pop tunes in Yahoo Music Launchcast and i heard this song. this sure brings back a lot of memories... and it hurts.

This song is just sooooo.... sweet? painful? okay, bittersweet. I was downloading Hana Yori Dango episode 5 (currently waiting for the softsubs), when i suddenly started singing the song randomly. err... actually, just part of the song. It's Domyouji and Tsukushi's love theme. aaww... *tears*

new blog layout

it's teddy bears!! i love teddy bears.. and i know that you know where those teddies *points up* came from. now if you don't know, well... i'm not going to tell you! nyahahaha....

all i can say is teddy bears are love....

and i do not want to think about valentine's day. i'll post an "i-hate-valentine's" post some other time. i'm just too hyper today. ^^
