Hi!
We are the MyZoo Volunteer Group Foundation. We are a young group and we involve ourselves in helping preserve our natural heritage, most especially the endemic species of the Philippines – more than half of which are on the endangered list.

MyZoo aims to
· transform zoos in general into effective educational institutions by improving the image, facilities and programs of different zoos
· strengthen links to communities vital to the preservation of endemic species
· educate Filipinos, especially the children on conservation of Philippine wildlife

To do this, MyZoo
· volunteers as zookeepers at different zoos and wildlife rescue centers
· helps better rescued animals through behaviour and enclosure enrichment
· trains zookeepers, zoo assistants and volunteers
· conducts learning activities like Zoo to You and Close Animal Encounter
· campaigns against illegal wildlife trade

MyZoo volunteers regularly at the following centers
· Manila Zoological & Botanical Garden, Manila
· Protected Areas & Wildlife Bureau – Wildlife Rescue Center, Quezon City
· Laguna Wildlife Park & Rescue Center, Pansol, Laguna
· Pasig City Zoo, Pasig City

It is high time for everyone to rise up and combat the threat poised to our environment.
