First off, I think it was too long at 25 episodes. I mean, I appreciate the focus on Sam and all, but I feel that it could've ended earlier if only they skipped the nonsense parts. I think it would've ended at episode 18 if they stuck with the "important" stuff. But I am just a fan, I am no director. However, I think it's nice that Sam played the main guy for once, not the "other" guy. He is such a cutie...
So right now, I'm on to Ms. Ripley Who I Loved - starring Lee Da Hae and Park Yoochun and another guy - an older guy - who I don't know the name of. I cannot get over hoe pretty Lee Da Hae is. Long legs and milky white skin. I think that girl have it all. I think she's prettier now than during the time of Green Rose. I'm only on the fifth episode. And I've been trying to watch it for 3 weeks already. Guess it's not as interesting as Sungkyunkwan Scandal or else I would've finished it in 2 weeks. Or maybe I'm just too busy? Anyway, we shall see.
Work is work as usual. Got another account to transition which makes everything exciting and hectic at the same time. I got to do the transition Schneider Electric (http://www.schneider-electric.com/)! Schneider is a big company that works on energy management. I cannot wait to start transitioning it. It's quite a big project, far different from Zale Corporation (http://www.zalecorp.com/) but that's what makes it so exciting. Imagine consolidating 8 sites into 1. Very challenging. I love it! ^.^
Tomorrow is the start of the love month. Not exactly looking forward to it because the boyfriend is away, but what the heck... To all of my friends who are in a relationship, HAPPY HEARTS DAY! To those who are single, HAPPY SINGLE AWARENESS DAY! Have fun everyone, be safe! *wink* *wink* ^__^V

Labels: comeback, korean stuff, workIt has been three years since I last posted here. And my last post was about what's in store for me for 2009. Well, 2009 was alright.Went to TVXQ's Shanghai concert in October of that year - I believe that was their last concert as DBSK5... If only knew that it was the last time we'll see them on stage together, we would've tried our very best to get the best seats. But I am still thankful I got to see them twice in concert. I know I'll see them together again - It's just a matter of faith. :)The year following that was focused on work, work and more WORK. Got promoted in 2010, went to Dallas to start transition of a new account, built it up from scratch... It was an awesome experience - and it was the first time I traveled abroad alone. I hope I get to do that again, but this time for vacation. We all need to be alone sometimes, to get away from all the craziness in the world. Fandom took the very back seat this year - but that doesn't mean I am disconnected from the DBSK fandom. I heard rumors and read news - even shed tears when I found out about the split and got angry at SME because of the lawsuit. But work was the top priority... and it continued on the next year.The year 2011 was still filled with work, and sometimes work woes. It was okay. But I am, after all, a fangirl. So at the end of the year, I found myself watching K-dramas and downloading albums. Got to finish Jang Geun Suk's "You're Beautiful" and I fell in love with him. Seriously. And I was finally able to watch "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" - Park Yuchun's first major series. And he is soooo good! The chicken can act! I'd like to think of him as my chicken... LOL. Gawd how I miss him, and the rest of the boys :(Anyway, I got myself to watch Sam Wang of 5566's "A Game About Love" with Chen Qiao En... and the following scenes made me giddy:

Labels: korean stuff, TTDL, workwhew.. i haven't updated this blog for like forever. ok, it's just 8 days but that's a loong time. argh! alright that's not long compared to the amount of time i didn't update in the latter part of 2007. lol XD
anyway, holy week came and went. i went to work during the lenten season but it was ok. all of us in the team didn't go on vacation, but it was fun at the office. we're enjoying the remainder of our time at the present office because come May we'll be moving to Electra House. They say the new building is ok... but what concerns me the most is the ghost stories. i don't like being stuck at the office all alone. With our line of work, there is always that off chance of being stuck at work alone. *sigh* guess i just have to keep my fingers crossed, hoping that they won't leave me alone in that scary place T.T
update on my To Do List! i am almost finished with Fashion 70s! yebah! i am so loving the story! and the 2 guys are uber hot, i swear. they make me swoon! hehe... i'm on episode 21 right now and i'm just about finished with it. i'm watching it on crunchyroll.com because i got fed up with the awful subtitles in the DVD i brought. yesh, i love the person who created crunchyroll ^^
as for The Zahir, i'm almost done. i have no impression of it as of now. yeah, i get the idea but so far, i don't find it as appealing as The Alchemist. i just found it interesting in the start... but who knows, i might just fall in love with it as i read the end. after all, i am just on pae 152 ;)
what else, oh... i need to update my blogs. gosh... my multiply and livejournal are dead. and so is my cyworld. geesh... need to update those things at least once a week. we can't keep our social networks dead, right? *wink* ah! and i'm not updated with TVXQ anymore T.T and here i am helping out with the 5G. i ought to be ashamed of myself. *sniff sniff* but hey, i love them all the same... :)
hmmm... the boyfriend is in cebu for work, and i am bored. guess there's nothing else to do but finish that drama and the rest of my things to do list.

WTF!!!
i went to work as usual last night, but when i got to the office, my manager told me that Jason Barrett (our WAN manager) and Kirk Hubbard (our Telecom director) from the US are coming over to the office. i was estatic, it's my chance to meet them and all that.
so while waiting, i was doing the usual stuff, checking emails, opening my browser tools and things like that. after around 20-30 minutes or so, our site IT manager came and said, "This is LTGS". i looked and saw this guy with glasses clapping and saying, "You're doing great guys". Then our IT manager said this is Kirk, *and then some provider someone*... i was smiling and laughing because of the guy clapping, he is so nice and cool, then the IT Manager said, and this is Jason Barrett. when i glanced at him, i was shocked, surprised and baffled! all those three! HE IS SOOOO DAMN HOT! ok, stop babbling, but he is. gawd, he's cool, young and very good looking. Hehe... Rein introduced each one of us and he said he knows me well, probably because i kept pestering him in emails and all that. nyahaha.. but i'm happy he said that *kilig* whee~ really, he looks like he's just in his late 20s and early 30s.... and he is the WAN manager for LTGS. wow... he's got all these piercings and stuff. waaahhh... i'm a sucker for "bad" boys. And they're soo nice! *kilig mode* and he said.. "these are the guys who call me up at 2 in the morning" nyahahahaha!
alright, so i won't be mad at him when he gets mad for me calling him at 2am reporting a down circuit or an outage. he has the right to be mad. he's so goddamn cute!
Kirk and Jason said they will spend some time with us, i really hope they make good on their word. whee~ *excited and kilig mode*

i'm tired of doing the same thing everyday for the past year. seriously. i want a new job. i need a new job.
there's a time in your life when you know you can do something better than what you are doing at the present. my friends, this is one of those times. T.T i guess the only thing that's stopping me from actually leaving my present job is that i've grown too comfortable with everything about it, from the work itself right down to the people i work with.
it's time to be adventurous. let the job hunting begin!!!!

am i really back? i don't want to believe it. haha... it might be like this: i'm updating my blogs now, and then after a few days, i'm on hiatus again. T.T
as i've said to the CassPh core members i met last saturday, i am in work mode.
so i guess the best way to start this blog is updating my dear readers (hah! as if i have readers! ^.^) about what's been happening at work..... as if they would be interested! hehehe... just bear with me. i need to vent it all out.
HECTIC! argh! we're understaffed and it doesn't help that the supervisor is a bit insensitive. psh... sometimes i just want to scream, but what can i do? i'm honestly getting tired of all the promises and the stuff i've been hearing. i know the ones responsible are doing all they can, but hello... it's over a year already! where's the growth you're all talking about? i'm not normally this frustrated but when you're given a time to think and evaluate everything, it hits you. and it hits you hard.
done venting. i'll be back as my usual passive self when i get to work later. *sigh*
19 stickers to go!!! i need 19 more stickers till i get that starbucks 2008 planner! haha.. okay, i so prefer the planner last year, but there's just something about getting a starbucks planner that really gets to you. it's just seeing that card of yours fill up with stickers and realizing that once you fill that up, you'll be getting something in return... it's just so... addicting? yeah...
plus the fact that their coffee is ok. i so love caramel macchiatto (i honestly don't know how to spell it.. lol). as well as their holiday offering: toffee nut latte. but i am curious how the eggnog latte tastes like.
oh well, guess i have to go to the states to figure that one out. ^^

*back track* the last time i seriously blogged was July 15th. aahh!!! too much to talk about! but it's ok. shall we start with work? hehe...
work is ok. although it was raining with high severity issues the past couple of weeks. come on, where did you see an IT company having 2-3 circuits down in one day? it was a real headache. and we had to contact people from India, Malaysia, Ghana and Mexico. and wow... the accent. i had to strain my ears to understand them and it took up a lot of my patience. sheesh.. and not only that, while it was raining Sev1s, i was training a new guy on the team. talk about multitasking. *sigh* but i love my job, no matter how much i complain. lol XD
our team and the whole of support will be transferring to a different building within the week. Daniel and me have already checked the place and it is sooo cool. i like it. it's actually a 10-minute walk from our current building so i guess it's ok even though the building's old. i guess what's very appealing is the fact that the big bosses won't be there to breathe down our necks. yey! ^_^
and and and... our big bosses will be coming for a visit this July 30th. wow. the VP of ITO will be here. i'm now wondering if they're all ok. hmmm.. not Kevin's the only one left. i really want to see the guy. somehow i can't imagine him chasing down a toddler. lol XD. funny funny...
i guess the next two weeks will be really interesting neh?
remember i said i was downloading like crazy? yep, still am. finished downloading the first season of Heroes and Beverly Hills 90210. but i'm not finished watching it. haha.. and now i'm downloading The Devil and Kyou Kara Maou. sheesh. after this, it's back to TVXQ. lol. been neglecting them for a while. and i don't know why. i guess i needed a break. been to engrossed with them lately.
but wth, i just spent a lot on them this week. i got my Men in the Black and The 2nd Asia Tour Concert "O" Live Album from OK!Books yesterday, as well as Fly to the Sky's No Limitations album. whee~ i spend a lot on fandom T__T but at least i'm happy. hehe... AND!!! ate rowena gave me a poster of Choi Si Won... love.. that kid is gorgeous... insanely gorgeous...
speaking of spending a lot. i still have to get the S-Mag from paopaopao. i am excited about the poster. really, i am. i got to see it at Ok!Books and it was big. i love it. and they're also hot in it. But Yunho still needs to put on some weight. he really looks anorexic. *sigh*
moving forward, i was able to watch episode 5 of Why Why Love, and it was soooo funny. i love it. i'm already looking forward to the upcoming episodes. i've also started watching the Japanese adaptation of Hana Kimi. i didn't watch the TW series because i don't like Ella from SHE. but i love the jdorama. plus the fact that almost the whole cast is hot is a major plus. i died while watching Shirota Yuu walking towards Oguri Shun. lol.. the series is love.
let's see, i guess i got all the bases coverd. i'm watching 5 series: one Korean, one Taiwanese, one Japanese and 2 American. oh yes, i'm a very busy fangirl. ^___^
and i still have a lot of reading to do. sheesh. why is there only 24 hours in a day???
hmm.. i just brought a new digicam. a Sony W55. it's a purely an impulsive thing. aish.. i need to stop being an impulsive buyer. i just liked the color and then boom, next thing i know i was giving my contact details for the warranty card. waaahhh... i need to focus. think of the BKK and HK trip.
speaking of trips... i'm going to Davao!!! i asked izce if she wanted to come along and she said yes. yey! it's just something to help me unwind, coz heaven knows how much i need it. hmm.. maybe i'll ask other people to come along. it'll be so much fun! we're eye-ing the first week of september for the trip. i just hope eman would let me come, i know he'll be busy when he gets back, so hopefully he'll let me go.
i feel sorry for him. he's been working ever since he moved to the Philippines. but as he said, it's part of the job, so who is he to complain. and he likes his job. lol XD. speaking of, i need to learn to cook some new stuff. aish, i promised him a home-cooked meal when he gets back and i need to learn to cook something before August 15th. *sigh*
i miss him. :P

Labels: american series, downloads, fanfic, movies, workwhat date is it today? july 15th? it's been 4 days since i last updated this blog. it has been a very, very busy week. haven't had time to properly bloghop as well as post a blog entry. i need a break. a long one. i need to plan a vacation for august. seriously.
anyway, there have been a lot of high priority issues at work. imagine getting around 3-5 Sev.1s a day. *sigh* a lot of circuits going down and a lot of work/production being affected. and it doesn't help that the LWAN engineers are being so aksdjasdja about it. aish, good thing we have Kevin and Mark on board, at least we know we can depend on someone to help us out. and i just remembered, i got two reports due on monday, plus the lesson plan and timetable. aargghh!!! this is the reason why i'm not into fangirl-ing anymore... i need my daily dose of fangirlism to keep me sane! *gets hit by eman* sheesh....
hopefully, everything will be okay this coming week. Just hope that Russian WAN engineer will finally loosen up and stop being a snob. aish. gggrrrrr...
i've just reformatted my PC. it was getting all cluttered and the USB port is acting up, so I decided to format it. of course, i backed up my precious files, even though it wasn't that many. don't have time to stalk the clubboxes anymore for tvxq and kpop vids. but when i have some time, i do stalk and download some stuff.
like right now, well, it's not kpop or related to anything Korean. i'm downloading the first season of Beverly Hills, 90210 and the first eleven episodes of Heroes Season 1. Yeah, Beverly Hills!!! i loved that series when i was in elementary or high school. Remember the twins, Brenda and Brandon (er, tama ba?) back then, i thought they were the coolest and handsomest people on the planet, but then i was introduced to Kpop. whee~ ahehe..
i'm almost finished downloading Beverly Hills, just 2G left (it's 7.86G big). whoot~ this is the reason why i love torrent files. ahehe... TVXQ can wait, i need to re-acquaint myself with the western world and the Hollywood circle. ^_^Y
fanfics. ah, i've started with Conversations Between Us, but I'm also reading Even So. Anne posted it on Jhocel's multiply tagboard, and i couldn't resist a good fic. hehe... I've also saved a copy of Balloons and Goodbye by dearSkye. there was a note on the thread that she will be removing it from the internet this August, so I saved a copy, compete with the posters and everything. i won't be redistributing it, it's just something for me to read once i'm done with all the fics i got stocked up here.
and there are a lot. *sigh*
hopefully, i'll find the time to read them soon.

anyway, birthday celebration last 07/08 with fandom friends was fun. it was so nice to see the bangers again. i missed those girls. and the angels too. thank you to all those who greeted me. got quite a number of SMS and YM messages... love you guys to death for remembering. *put hearts here*
celebration at the office was great too. though it would have been better if the whole LTGS Team, was there. but anyway, there's still more time to celebrate. hey, if my boyfriend can celebrate his birthday for a week, why can't i? lol XD
celebration at home was ok. everybody's out most of the day so i was home sleeping. and i got up and was late for work. hehehehe...
oh yes, that's right. he's in the Caribbean right now and he'll be there for 12 days for work. after that he's back to Atlanta for some other business thingies. then it's back home on august 15th. *sigh* well, even though he wasn't here on my birthday, he did promise that we'd take a trip to Sagada when he gets back. and i have been dying to go there ever since i saw pictures of the hanging coffins and the caves. i just hope there won't be any storms when we go. i'm happy. yey...
what else, oh! as usual, i did some shopping. lol XD it was my private birthday celebration for myself. before i forget, thanks LJ, for the wonderful gift. it was enough that you came over at exactly the time you said you were coming over, but the 3 years worth of gifts you promised were awesome. i love you boybespren! you will always be my one and only boybespren. lol.. cheesy, i know. but you deserve it! hah! let's just hope that the wife won't interpret this the wrong way. hehe...

so what can i say about this current skin/layout? it definitely shows what i'm feeling right now, on the first day of my birth month. *sigh* to make a long story short: this on-again-off-again sort of thing is not for me. the sometimes-long-distance thing is alright, but the on-again-off-again thing? i don't think so. it's frustrating, tiring and emotionally draining. heck, it's like a switch!! so let's let the one who went away, be away. *sniffles*
anyway, we have a newbie at work and i'll be training him. aarrgghh!! why can't they get female newbies?? the past 3 newbies that i've trained are all guys, and just one of them is cute. but hey, the cute one's married. geeeesshhh...
okay, enough about work...
finished watching the second episode of Why Why Love yesterday. the series is really funny! and i am loving Kingone Wang even more! he's so silly, especially during the behind the scenes. OMG.. he's so silly, sillier than Mike. and as promised, i will be posting screencaps, with Rainie Yang. XD but most of the screencaps will be available in my Multiply account. i made quite a few screencaps, pressing Ctrl+e like crazy everytime KingOne would do something silly and cute, also when Mike is so adorably cute! I can't wait for the third hardsubbed episode to come out. i love DoReMii and IFS for subbing the series... and thank you anne for making me intrigued enough that i downloaded the series. now i'm hooked!

so let's see... i'm downloading Tuck Everlasting right now. this is one American movie that i love. and not just because that cutie (er, is the guy's name Jonathan Jackson? i forgot) is there, and also Alexis Bledel, i just love the movie. period. it's about living forever... and all that melodramatic stuff. and i do love melodramas. i think there's about 2 hours left before the torrent finishes downloading. love... ^_^
let's go to fanfics... i've got a ton lined up to read. i don't know where to start. but since i started with Conversations Between Us (because jhocel sent me a copy, which Anne compiled, thanks!!! *hugs*), might as well finish that. right now i'm on page 23. and i really find the story interesting. silly me, i browsed to the last part of the document and found out what happened to one of the gang leaders. huhuhu.. but that won't stop me from reading everything! yes, i am hooked. ^_^
still haven't finished Black Coffee Talk and Undertones of Forever, but i'm getting there. these two are a lot shorter compared to CBU, so we'll see how everything goes. and finally! sahbeL updated Close Your Eyes and Pretend!!! i am going crazy, he left us with a cliffhanger. *sigh* i really wanted to know what will happen to Jaejoong in the fic. Also reading wedspawn's Tarnished Angels, and finished with the lemon chapters. *evil smile* hehehehe... now what ChangMin and Se7en have is a real relationship! maybe not like JaeHo's forever, but something as intense. *grins*

it's been almost a week since i've updated. but i just had to write this one down.

and while i'm at it, i'd like to wish Jeanne Bernadette Bello a speedy recovery. she was involved in a car accident a few days back. Jeanne is the 2006 Bb. Pilipinas 2nd-runner up as well as a schoolmate from High School. er, not to mention the fact that she's the ex of someone very special to me, as well as someone i consider a dongsaeng. lol XD now that i remember, she was also the one who wanted my position when i was the Chief of Administration in our CAT class. Jeanne's a very nice person, beautiful inside and out. and i'm very happy that she was able to get out of that accident in one piece. now a speedy recovery is in order, ne? ^^
and also, i got an offer from Emerson. salary-wise it was ok, plus the benefits and allowances were really .... wow. but wth, when i think about career growth, it sucks big time. i mean, i'm not currently supporting my family in the way my father is, so i really don't need a huge/big salary. as my officemate told me, why settle for a job you'll be in for 4654983 years with a big salary when you can actually stay in my current job and get promoted and then receive a big salary, even bigger than the one being offered by Emerson now. makes sense, right? besides, i like my job right now, even though it is quite toxic at times, and there are instances where i actually do more than what my job description requires. but heck, i love it.
hu-hum.. i have to go now. will be posting about the CassPH 3rd gathering in a while. i'll update as soon as i can. ^_^

currently in an update frenzy. lol XD
i was updating my multiply account all night while trying to download some CB files. it was fun. changed the layout, added a ton of songs, added some MVs, updated my calendar, posted a review...
see? it really is an update frenzy. and i'm downloading songs off z-degrees like mad. haha... i guess i'm really happy that the stressful week is done. so what's up for me this week? hmm... CassPH the 3rd Gathering! yep yep. i feel guilty for not helping out as much as i should. but i promise i'll make it up on the 4th Gathering. and that's this december ^^

Labels: workoh yeah! i can't wait for July 1st! July 1 will mark our team's migration to the Information Technology Outsourcing department of ACS. That means, we are no longer part of CC! yes!! freedom from the rigors of CC! it is love! ^^
but with the migration comes a lot of new challenges as well as responsibilities. this is additional pressure but i think it will be very well worth it considering the amount of things we would be learning. and another perk is that, even though we will be transferring to another building (and the building is bleh), well, our facilities there are well worth it. we have PS!!! yesh!! playstation! whoot! although i would've wanted a wii *hint hint to our GM*. lol XD.. i just hope that Kevin, our manager in the States, would be able to come and see the place. i am so curious about him. yes, i am able to chat with him thru SameTime, and there are the occasional calls, but i have never seen him. i am so curious about how he looks like. i mean, he's got a nice, soft voice and he is sooo uber nice whenever we ask him some stuff. i really want to know how he looks like. ^^
oh, yes, curious little me. it's been hectic in the office and i think i need to sleep. *sigh* i haven't had a decent sleep in a week. T___T
will post more when i get the chance. and i need to post pics! i haven't posted any pics in a while. blame work ... huhu...

work is hell this past week. and it did not help that the world's sweetest guy left for the Caribbean earlier this morning. and so i ask myself, what am i doing here when my boyfriend is halfway across the world where the beaches are amazing? -___- life sucks.
talking about work... i haven't done anything productive the past week. i mean, i have been training our new-hires, but that is not included in my job description. it's ok, i love training people, but then i realize this is not part of my job anymore. grr... my manager in the States should be very, very thankful. *sigh* it's hard when you like your job so much -___-
why did i get stuck with having a boyfriend whose job is to train people in different places all over the world? he just came back last monday from the caribbean, and now he's headed back to help out with the new site there. *sniff* isn't it enough that he's not Filipino and can only speak about 10-20 tagalog words? now he's got to come and go in between short intervals of time. aish. if he wasn't so d@mn sweet *sniff*
i'm ranting. this is what happens when i'm stressed. *sniff*
